pet hates....
i love surfing.
Pretty much everything about it excites me. I can even muster the enthusiasm to surf one foot onshore slop in the middle of winter on numerous occasions but i hate, and i don't think thats too strong a word, rinsing wetsuits out, especially in winter!
It's always that irritating job at the end of the evening when you've got back just that bit later than you promised, hosing cold water over yourself by accident, struggling to turn damp slimey boots & gloves inside out or risk them stinking the house out (or worse still being banished outside and never drying)
I know i could avoid doing it, but knowing i'm not looking after my expensive investment even though it looks after me would bug me too. Least we are slowly losing rubber as the water slowly warms up.

I'm hearing you! We are just heading into winter in my part of the world and even though I live in a fairly temperate part of the world, the chilly mornings/evenings with a wet wettie are not my favorite part of the whole experience :)
amen to that- my booties are the most rank smelling things
I love cold water surfing, but I too can relate to the hate of the wetsuit rinse.
great shot, thanks for sharing.
Gotta rinse. But we are shedding the rubber here in Jersey too. Nothing better than a winter surf though. Screw the crowds.
